The film documents Lijn's continuing interest in cones, from 1964 to 1972.
The title is taken from a Japanese koan, a Zen meditation riddle given to novice Buddhist monks as a tool to quieten the mind. As the title suggests, Lijn's koans attempt to dissolve matter and empty the mind.
